Basaan Grounds
An epic soak-fest - splash park with pools and waterslides.

Pinoy Stories Abroad presentsThe community for Filipinos living, working, and thriving in Western Australia.
A Filipino summer water festival - a splash-tastic family day at The Pavilion, WACA Grounds.
What's the day about
Picture this: it's the WA Labour Day long weekend, and about 1,500 sun-kissed Filos and Aussies are ready to make a splash at The Pavilion at WACA. With epic tunes, scrumptious food, a bustling tiangge, and a big talent show, folks are chilling out and making waves in pools and slides. It's the ultimate Pinoy summer day out.
WACA Fest is Pinoy's flagship event - a splash-tastic family day led by the Filipino community and open to all, returning every year on the same weekend. 2027 is the first one, and we'd rather you were there for it than hear about it after.

One splash-tastic fest
The Pavilion transforms into five distinct worlds for the day; from an all-out soak-fest to a shaded lounge, a makers’ market, a street-food boulevard, and the stage that ties it all together.

An epic soak-fest - splash park with pools and waterslides.

A leisure swimming pool with swirly waterslides; shaded and slow.

The main stage, pumping with performances all day long.

A fiesta of Filipino-Aussie creations and traditional games.

Dishing out scrumptious Filipino street food from dawn to dusk.
